More than a decade ago, the founder of Interface Protein Technology, Inc. believed that scientists in the area have many misunderstandings, especially the structure of protein surfaces after post-translational modifications, protein/enzyme functionalities at interfaces, proteolytic reaction kinetics, thermodynamic impacts on protein-protein interactions, protein glycosylations, etc.. A new research area, interface protein technologies, thus was developed by our founder, and a business platform was established to be dedicated to the researches and commercialization of interface protein technologies.
Over the last 13 years, we've developed technologies to make protein ingredients highly functional in processing and more nutritional as human and animal nutrients. In early 1990s', our founder first discovered that system thermal-dynamic compatibility of the reaction system significantly affects protein-protein interactions. In early 2000's, our founder innovated technologies to form highly stable protein-stabilized emulsion systems, and developed a theory of Irreversibly Heat-Denatured Protein Matrix Stabilized Emulsion System, followed by several patents in the theory applications and commercialization. More than a decade, IPT has been leading the researches in developing and commercializing glycol-science related products, especially the sialic acids from milk. More than 5 patents have been granted, and many innovative products launched on the market. |
Our founder started his researches in enzymatic cross-linking of proteins since early 1990's, and granted many US Patents in its applications.
in early 1990's, IPT founder discovered that enzymatic protein hydrolysis does not fit Steady-State kinetics! Protein stabilized emulsion system theories currently are used for encapsulating omega-3 fatty acids and making by-passed omega-3 FA for ruminants. Our technologies make the most efficient by-pass fat ingredients, in terms of the product's by-pass rate, fat oxidation stability, and protein digestibility, etc..
